Chief Education Officer
Larry Bolinger

Although in my forty-second year in public education, I still retain the same enthusiasm and anticipation that I had in my first year. During my career, I have had the opportunity to teach language arts and social studies at the middle and high school levels for the first twelve years, then English and speech at the college/university level as an adjunct for many years as well. For the past thirty years, I have worked in school administration as a district supervisor, assistant principal, principal and superintendent. I earned a bachelor’s degree in English in 1973, a master’s in administration and supervision in 1977 and an education specialist’s in English Education in 1997.

My lovely wife Jane and I have been happily married for forty-two years and have been blessed with two wonderful children, Brian and Jill, who are both adults now. We have also been blessed with two wonderful grandchildren.

I am looking forward to continuing to be a part of the Bay Haven family and to do all that I can to assist the school in maintaining its already established record of educational excellence and success.
